Optical Assistant Position
A very exciting opportunity has become available for a confident, bubbly and experienced Optical Assistant to join a high-end independent chain in one of their practices in Urmston. Established over 70 years ago, this client has unrivalled reputation across the Northwest. The company offers a wide selection of high-end products and services and with an open ear policy they’re looking for someone who is happy to dispense and really has a flair to style pateints.
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
You will work within a busy independent in an all around role. You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales, as well as undertaking pre-screening, contact lens teaches and associated admin work.
Requirements for the Optical Assistant
You will need a minimum of 1 years experience as an Optical Assistant and it’s essential you dispense spectacles to all levels and ideally have worked with designer frames. You will be pre-screening patients, delivering contact lens teaches and will be very focussed on delivering the highest levels of customer service.
Compensation for the Optical Assistant
On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £27k depending on experience as well as the opportunity to further your career for the right candidate on to either the Dispensing Optician course or down the managerial path.
