Job description
Churchill Howard is working in partnership with a leading name in the Midlands to recruit an ambitious group financial accountant to support the growth of their finance team. This is a good opportunity for future career progression as previous team members have moved to roles in commercial finance and there are a number of roles in the team at the Grade above this role.
The Role:
• Controlling and reviewing of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Business partnering senior stakeholders across the business.
• Preparing statutory financial accounts and working alongside the Auditors at year end.
• Tracking and reporting working capital.
• Working alongside the auditors where required.
• Ad hoc finance project work.

The Person:
• Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent, either in a newly or recently qualified capacity.
• Ability to demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting with multiple companies preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial information for non-finance colleagues.
