We provide an amazing team of local Care Professionals to support the older generation within our communities to stay safe and independent within their own home. Our Care Professionals provide companionship, meal preparation, dementia support, help with personal hygiene routines, light housework and taking clients out to appointments and even having fun.

 

Job Description



How would extra money help you?

We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals who can help and support local people within Lichfield with their evening routines.

As a Care Professional you would be helping people with evening meals and bed time routines from 6.15pm to 11pm 3 x weekday evenings one week and 2 x weekday evenings plus the weekend evenings the second week.  Its a x2 week rota. You would see the same Clients consistently and share the week and alternate weekends with another Care Professional. We want you to have work life balance!

Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care. Home Instead has become known for. Here’s what you could be doing: • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit • Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework • Accompanying to appointments or shopping therefore a driving licence and use of suitable transport is essential • Personal care - supporting some of our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent • Supporting some clients with dementia and reminding some to take medication

Qualifications

required however experience of caring for a friend or family member is a distinct advantage.

All initial training provided to UK Care Certificate standard plus outstanding dementia training that is bespoke to Home Instead.

On going training, support to obtain development and

qualifications

including QCF2 / 3 : salary banding increases accordingly.

Hourly rate from £11.00 to £15.75 per hour
