Arc Partnership isa joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE, formed in2016 to support the council in creating an efficient, safe, and sustainableland and property portfolio.

We deliver multi-disciplinary services and consult, design, build, manage andmaintain on behalf of the council and the communities and people it represents.We provide value for money, quality of output, and customer excellence tosupport regeneration and economic growth, for Nottinghamshire and beyond.

We believe in creatingmeaningful change, and since 2016, we’ve been a strategic partner forNottinghamshire County Council.

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Mechanical andElectrical Design team and create a real impact by being the person responsiblefor delivering comprehensive designs, detailed drawings and intricateschematics, utilising a suite of current software tools. These will bedelivered to meet the relevant British Standards, Building Regulations, andother relevant standards, including those related to energy efficiency andsustainability.

• Ensuringall work is carried out in accordance with legal and technicalregulations, codes of practice or guidelines.
• Ensuringthat any project changes, which may impact on overall programme plans,costs, or timescales, are reviewed and agreed in advance with the relevantProject Manager and client.
• Managingprojects effectively to ensure that the co-ordination of technicalelements is achieved to meet project targets.
• Provide exceptionalproficiency in electrical building services design, and a deep comprehension oftechnical requirements, legislation, and industry best practice.
• Utilise the mosteffective procurement methods to achieve the best delivery of projects for theclient and raising their awareness of the services provided by Arc.
• Carry out designs usingAutoCAD, Revit, Stabicad and relevant design tools.
• Provide professional andtechnical expertise and advice to all internal and external customers asrequired, ensuring quality standards are maintained.

What you’ll bring:

• Arange of experience in designing, specifying, site surveying and projectmanagement of multiple building projects Ability to
• Demonstrableevidence of successful project management of complex multi-disciplinaryprojects including budgets and final accounts
• Demonstrableevidence of preparing feasibility studies and budget estimates, and budgetcontrol and financial monitoring, contractual management and negotiating withclients
• Workingknowledge of sustainable environmentally friendly building services, includingBREEAM and SBEM audits
• Broaddemonstrable knowledge of building services engineering design materials andtechnologies
• Theability to make decisions and solve problems to meet operational targets,involving devising solutions and prioritising the resources available
• You’llhave a basic understanding of sustainability in the workplace, and be committedto support the business with its carbon reduction strategy
