Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join our client based in Alfreton on a permanent basis.

Position Overview:
- As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations
- You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring the highest levels of product quality, and managing a team

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards and environmental regulations
- Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of manufacturing personnel
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Drive initiatives to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship within the manufacturing operations
Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and efficiency
