Our Spa Hosts deliver exceptional service and an outstanding spa experience to our guests, helping guests relax and us deliver a genuine Scarlet or Bedruthan moment. Our Spa Hosts take care of the presentation of the spa and outdoor areas and provide a reassuring presence in terms of water safety of our guests - ensuring they can unwind and soak up the Cornish coastline in one of our outdoor retreats.
This is a varied role focusing on ensuring our guests are cared for and have everything they need throughout their time with us. The role includes shifts at:
- Spa reception desk – using our booking software, looking after the spa and pools, as well as the safety of those using them, guiding our guests through their day at both spas, and advising on treatments and product
- Sensory Spa Garden at Bedruthan – complete care of facilities and water quality testing, guest guided tours, and outdoor hosting
- Spa Experiences at Scarlet – guiding our guests through use of our hammam, rhassoul, and copper tub
- Clifftop Hot Tubs at Scarlet – outdoor hosting, guiding our guests to our iconic clifftop hot tubs, serving drinks, caring for the facilities and water quality testing
We are looking for Spa Hosts to help us provide a genuinely caring experience with a personal approach at both Scarlet and Bedruthan Spas.
As our ideal candidate you will:
- enjoy hosting and delivering a remarkable guest experience
- have a passion for customer service, and a friendly and approachable manner
- enjoy working outdoors, come rain or shine
- be well organised and love working in a fast-paced team
- have great communication skills
- have a high level of attention to detail when it comes to aesthetics, atmosphere and timing
- be computer literate; experience with Premier software an advantage
- be keen to learn and explore our treatment menu and product range
- have an interest in relaxation and wellbeing
- be able to swim 25m unaided - lifeguarding or emergency pool responder training is an advantage, but full training will be provided
