Job description
Job Title: Chiropodist/Podiatrist
Location: Pontypridd, South Wales
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' foot health, including the diagnosis and treatment of various foot conditions such as corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, and foot deformities.
- Provide individualized treatment plans and interventions to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and prevent further foot problems.
- Perform routine foot care procedures, including nail trimming, debridement, and biomechanical assessments.
- Prescribe and dispense orthotic devices, footwear recommendations, and other aids to support foot health and function.
- Educate patients on proper foot care techniques, preventive measures, and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up appointments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated care and optimal treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
- Valid and active NMC Registration.
- 6 Months proven experience as a Registered Nurse with Endoscopyexpertise.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathetic, caring, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
