Job description

As our Management Accountant, you will support our Financial Controller with the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management teams, gaining insight into business performance.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of management accounts for 3 entities
- Analysis of financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Assisting with budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of monthly payroll
- VAT returns
- Supporting transactional staff based on the seasonal requirements of the business and colleagues’ annual leave
– Bank reconciliations
– Sales ledger processing and credit control
– Purchase ledger processing and supplier payments
- Other reporting and analysis as required by the Financial Controller
Skills
- Part-qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
- Experience of Sage 50 and QuickBooks Online desirable
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial members of staff
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work independently
- Calm and clear-minded under pressure
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and commit to deadlines
- Able to support the agile nature of Handsfree and the wider business, with additional responsibilities as and when required
- Passion for continuous improvement and internal and external customer satisfaction
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability

Salary and Benefits
- Salary £35,000 to £45,000 per annum DOE
- Company bonus
- Holidays – 22 plus bank holidays to start, increasing annually to 27 days plus bank holidays
