The Religious worker is responsible for:
(a) actively participating on various Temple rituals, wedding ceremonies, remembrance ceremonies all conducted with special emphasis on Sri Vaishnava tradition and Paancharaatra Aagamam (scriptures) as performed in South India.
(b) keeping the deities housing and its drainage neat and tidy,
(c) making garlands and decorating the deities
(d) making Prasadam (Holy Food) for the deities and devotees
(e) Assist the main priest with daily Aradhana (poojas), Suprabhata seva, chanting mantras and sthothrams, Abhishekams, Alankaarams, Homam.
Qualifications and Skills:
• At least three years’ work experience in a similar capacity in a reputed temple
• Candidates should be willing to perform only Vaishnava faith of Hinduism as the Temple follows the principles laid by Sri Ramanujacharya 1000 years ago itself.
• Candidates should affirm their faith as a Hindu as the job role involves assisting in worshipping and performing poojas for the Hindu Gods
• Track record of participating in the planning and carrying out temple rituals Homam, Hindu weddings and as per Pancharatra aagamam
• Candidate should know medium level of Sanskrit and English language to talk to the devotees teach Sanskrit classes to the interested people.
• Preparing food (naivedyam) in an orthodox way and offer to the deities.
• Candidates are expected to be more spiritual and godlier and obtained and learnt mantras and customary way of worshipping the God traditionally. Candidates are expected to consider this role as a service to God.
• Ability to address on religious topics to devotees.
• Self-driven and strive to improve religious services.
• Any other certificates of appreciation from reputed institutes if available, but optional
• Able to speak Medium to Good level of Telugu, English, Sanskrit, Hindi (Optional).

Jeeyar Educational Trust UK (JETUK) is Hindu Religion charity that runs a temple in Norwich and the main deities are Sridevi, Bhoodevi and Lord Narayana along with other deities of Goda Devi, Lord Sri Krishna, Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman. Remuneration:
The candidate will be paid annual salary of £19,510.00 for 36 hours of work per week. We comply with the National Minimum Wage regulations and we also provide holiday pay and other benefits according to the laws of UK.
