Engineering Lecturer
Salary: £38,637 to £40,910 dependant on experience
Location: Hull
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:15pm and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
Benefits: 38 days annual leave including BH
Annual bonus payment dependent on organisational performance
Pension scheme which is 5% employee contribution and 7% company contribution

Our client is a leading Engineering training association who is a rapidly expanding training company with training centres in Hull, Stallingborough and Scunthorpe. The business provides engineering apprentices and adult skills training for hundreds of companies in Yorkshire and Humberside area.
They are looking for an experienced Engineering Lecturer with suitable ability and background who feels they have the right skills and attributes to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.
THE ROLE:
This position involves delivering a range of engineering subjects at Level 4 and Level 5 as part of the Engineering NC/HNC/HND programme the majority of which will be in Hull.
Subjects to be taught may include:
Electrical/Mechanical Principles.
Engineering Maths.
Engineering Science.
Engineering Design.
Fluid Mechanics.
CAD.
Health & Safety.
Organisational Efficiency & Improvements/Lean Manufacture.
Professional Engineering Management.
There will also be a requirement to facilitate and assess engineering projects at L3 & L4 and research project work at Level 5.
For the position of Engineering Lecturer your working hours Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.15pm and Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm. Your role will be based at our clients site in Hull, however there will be flexibility required to go to other company sites and client company sites.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applicants must:
Be degree qualified.
Have at least five years relevant industry experience.
Have excellent technical skills.
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
A teaching qualification is desirable but full training would be given to the right applicant.
A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential as some travelling between sites may be necessary.
