Job description

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Change Manager for a 2 year contract on a salary of £48,350 - £59,421. This role will be hybrid-based and the role has 35 days holiday with a generous pension.

 
Responsibilities:

 
- To provide change management skills and expertise to a range of projects and work packages to deliver priorities aligned to strategic objectives, an identified improvement or a responsive need
- Work with nominated Programme Sponsors / Leads to develop and monitor change management plans for all projects.
- Coordinate the delivery of change management plans and ensure it aligns with Project Management plans.
- In partnership with the programme manager to define and develop the tool kit to meet the programme’s needs.
- Run events for change agents on the change management methodology. Work with project team members to facilitate change management events where key tools are deployed.

 
 
Essential Skills:

 
- Significant evidenced practical experience of either change management or working within a university in a business areas supporting the implementation of improvement projects
- Experience of change management planning and delivery including approaches to managing change successfully.
- Strong communication and engagement skills which support the development and implementation people change.
- Educated to a degree level (or equivalent experience) with evidence of personal and professional development
- React quickly to changing demands and to handle different high priority tasks at the same time.
- Work with minimum supervision accurately and consistently to high standards.
- Work effectively in a team and in partnership with stakeholders.
- Develop positive working relationships

 
Desirable Skills:
 
- A good working knowledge of student and academic administration and the business process and policies which support that.
- Experience of project management.
- Awareness and understanding of the structure and business requirements of the University and/or HE sector
-Active interest in continuing professional development.
