Engineering Apprentice - 4 yr Fixed Term Contract Your new role
Are you looking for an opportunity to learn from a skilled team of engineers in a modern facility offering a great salary and career prospects? We have an exciting opportunity for two Engineering Apprentices to join Eisai’s Production Engineering Team based within our leading Manufacturing site located in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The team has a range of specialist Engineers who maintain and support the efficient running of the manufacturing and packaging machinery that produce medicines for the treatment of Cancer, Epilepsy and Alzheimer’s.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As part of this apprenticeship role, you will be studying towards a Level 3 Engineering Technician (Mechatronics Technician Pathway) apprenticeship standard. Your studies will take place as block release at the college, to gain the knowledge and skills to work towards the Level 2 and 3 qualifications defined in the standard. On the job development will take place at our manufacturing operation onsite at Hatfield. The apprenticeship has a typical duration of 36 months.

This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience and to play a key role in contributing to the future success of both the Engineering team and the company. There are several roles within the team thus there are real prospects for career development.
The successful completion of the Engineering apprenticeship is a great start to a career in the pharmaceutical industry and you will also have many opportunities to work with and learn from other departments.
