Senior Category Manager - Coop, Morrisons and Nisa

Slough - Hybrid (2 days per week in Slough HQ - 2 days per month with customers)

6 month contract - to end of September 2024

Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)

Core responsibilities for the Senior Category Manager:

As our Senior Category Manager, you'll support our Category partnership with Co-op, Morrisons and Nisa. You'll own key internal processes for these customers, including our innovation assumptions, customer insights for internal stakeholders and customer reporting.

Day to day responsibilities for the Senior Category Manager will include:

• To build a trusted category partnership with key contacts at Co-op, Morrisons and Nisa, through developing and delivering inspiring category solutions & recommendations that generate category growth and KP share growth
• Acting as a Category Partner to these customers, build strong partnerships and networks across a number of levels and functions, influencing through best in class category insights to drive a change in store e.g. through direct customer facing engagement on projects, building and developing category reporting / scorecards and supporting sales and internal teams
• Appropriately tailor the KP Demand Spaces to each customer with a focus on their key priorities. Build Category growth plans to unlock these priority Spaces
• Develop our Perfect Store Physical Availability planning and tracking ahead of Account Planning in September 2024

• Significant and proven experience in Category Management, with strong experience in Customer engagement. Experience in building Category Visions would be hugely advantageous
• Proven track record in delivering compelling insights and recommendations to customers
• Ability to influence customers to make a change in store that delivers category growth
• Ability to build compelling, simple stories from complex data sources
• Inclusive team member, willing to integrate within a strong category team and build relationships across; Sales, Marketing, Central Sales etc
• Strong ability to influence key stakeholders
