Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students at the primary/secondary level.
• Develop and implement curriculum materials and resources that align with the national standards for Computer Science education.
• Utilize various teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and enhance their understanding of computer programming concepts.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote their growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Computer Science department to exchange ideas, share resources, and improve teaching practices.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of Computer Science and integrate this knowledge into the curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, creativity, and critical thinking among students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science to primary/secondary students.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with curriculum frameworks and national standards for Computer Science education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on advancements in the field of Computer Science.
