Job Role: Accounts Manager 
Location: Barnstaple Outskirts - Transport required 
Type: Permanent 
Hours: Monday to Friday  (phone number removed)p.m
Salary: Up to £28k per annum depending on skills and experience 

Accounts Manager - The Company 
This is a superb opportunity to join a successful manufacturing and distribution business enjoying significant growth in the expanding health food and sports nutrition markets. The company is based in rural North Devon. Must have own transport.

Accounts Manager  Key Areas of Responsibility:
•    Company Cashier
-    Make payments.
-    Maintain Direct Debit schedule and post payments.
-    Post Customer Receipts
-    Ensure all bank entries are correctly posted to SAP B1 / SAGE
•    Monthly Bank Reconciliations
•    Reconcile company credit cards monthly.
•    Month End
-    Basic reconciliations
-    Journal Postings
-    Accruals/Prepayments
•    Maintain Fixed Asset Register
•    Support other areas of the Finance Team and Customer Services.
•    Ad Hoc projects to support the Finance Controller/Director.

Account Manager - Skills and Knowledge Required:
•    Payroll experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment, able to run with Monthly payroll and deal with queries.
•    Accounts payable processing, experience preferred.
•    Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process, creating and recording journals.
•    Knowledge of best practices in accounting and payroll functions and willing to keep knowledge current.
•    Experience in using SAGE accounting systems and MS Excel
•    Experience using Bright Pay Payroll or other payroll software.
•    Cashier Experience, Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger.
•    SAP Business One experience / SAGE
•    VAT Returns.
•    AAT training

Accounts Manager - The Hours 
8.30 a.m to 5.00 p.m Monday to Friday  (1/2 hour Lunch) 

Account Manager - The Pay 
Up to £28k per annum (negotiable) depending on skills and experience
