Job description

What you will do in your working day

All aspects of the care and education of children aged 0-5 including but not limited to;

• Providing age and stage appropriate activities for individual children’s stages of development
• Providing a stimulating environment
• Supervising meals and sleep times
• Encouraging independence
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment inside and outside
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with our children and their families
• All aspects of being a key carer, including observations and assessments on Tapestry and having a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Supporting children with Special Educational Needs
• Undertaking Continuous professional development and attending all staff meetings
• Working in a team and supporting colleagues
• Having an excellent working knowledge of what to do if you have any concerns about the well-being of any of our children, families, staff or the wider community

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard.

• Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated in top 10 of UK providers)
• All learning delivered online/ remotely alongside role

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Possible full-time employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.
