Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant | Lambeth, SW2 | £85-£105 Daily Rate | Long-term to Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in supporting children with behavioural needs in their Year 2 class. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students, helping them manage their behaviour and excel academically. As a Teaching Assistant specializing in Behavioural Support for you will play a vital role in the educational development and well-being of young students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one support to children with behavioural needs
- Ensuring the emotional and academic progress.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of behaviour management plans.
- Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to create an inclusive environment.
- Working with small groups of students, to support their classwork and encourage positive behaviour.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience working with children with behavioural needs in an educational setting.
- A patient and empathetic nature, with a deep understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or training are desirable.
