Commercial Analyst – Eastern Europe

Responsible to: Commercial Finance Manager

Department: Finance

Location: JD Group Head Office, Bury, BL9 8RR

Responsibilities:

• Production and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly commercial reporting for the region
• Assist with month end submissions for MIG subsidiary
• Assist with the budget and reforecast process for all entities in the Eastern Europe region
• Collate payroll data across all Eastern Europe markets and distribute weekly/monthly reports
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly bonus calculations
• Ensuring data is accurate, complete and maintained regularly for all Eastern Europe markets
• Management of timelines and submissions in line with Group Finance deadlines and agreed timelines with stakeholders
• Active involvement in design, development and maintenance of new reports and modelling
• Support the finance team with other ad-hoc analysis and reporting as and when required

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:

• Essential

• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
• Excel (intermediate)
• IT literate
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Self-motivated, willingness to learn and work with initiative
• Desirable
• Experience working in retail
