Location of the Job: Eastern Scotland the Scottish Borders.

• Do you have your BASIS and / or FACTS qualifications?

Salary and Benefits:

• Paying circa £40,000 per year depending on experience.

• This is a permanent full-time position.
• Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

The Job Role Details:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Agronomist to work for a forward-thinking agricultural company.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

• Monitor crops and provide recommendations to an existing customer base.
• Collaborate with farmers and oversee the implementation of precision agriculture techniques.
• Provide guidance on crop selection, crop rotation, and pest management strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in agronomy.
• Working with cereals, potatoes and vegetables.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

• Proven experience as an Agronomist with a focus on modern farming practices.
• FACTS / BASIS qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of precision agriculture technologies and their application.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with farmers and the contracting fleet.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to make informed recommendations.
