Job description

What you will do in your working day

• You will undertake professional development and training as part of a cohort of computing apprentices with Estio Training completing the Level 4 DevOps Engineer Apprenticeship.
• Will learn both On Premise and Cloud Platform System Administration.
• You will assist in the development of departmental applications, coding and operating systems using Microsoft PowerApps, in conjunction with Data Management and Data Warehousing, to produce Operational Management Tools. 

The training you will be getting

Sessions will be delivered online once per month in 2 to 3 day blocks via a live Virtual Learning Environment and you will also be supported on a 1:1 basis throughout your apprenticeship by a dedicated Technical Coach.  During the first 20 months of your apprenticeship, you will study:

• Infrastructure as Code 1
• Infrastructure as Code 2
• Containerisation
• APIs
• Backend and Frontend Development 1

• Scripting, Coding, Auto-Testing
• CI/CD Azure
• Security in DevOps

Level 4 (Higher national certificate)
