What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic person who can be proactive, work autonomously, and deliver sales growth to the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key Account Management of existing customers: retention and account development
• New Business Development:
  • Develop relationships with target accounts from existing database of prospects in line with company strategy
  • Convert new enquiries into ordering customers
• Focus on developing business with the following customer types:
  • OEM‘s, Machine Builders, System Integrators
  • Large manufacuting sites across all sectors
• Communicate at a technical and commercial level with design, project, production, quality managers and directors:
  • Identify, discuss and understand customer requirements
  • Select suitable product(s) to match their requirementsPresent proposal to customer including product demonstrations/evaluations
  • Overcome objections and win business
• Demonstrate to the customer how Micro-Epsilon can add value to their organisation
• Build long term customer relationship

It is expected the right candidate will have minimum 5 years experience in a field sales role and has knowledge of the current marketplace for industrial sensors or automation products. Previous knowledge of Micro Epsilon products is not essential as full training will be given.

A proactive approach to dealing with new customer enquiries is essential. A good relationship builder and business developer is required for this role, with the focus on building long term customer relationships.

A technical qualification in an engineering or science discipline is required for this role. Ideally NVQ level 5 or higher.
