Bouygues Energies & Services has a fantastic opportunity available for a Finance Manager to join our team, working on the Sizewell C (SZC) project.
The role will initially be based from our Bristol office in Bradley Stoke for the bid phase, before later moving to Sizewell C in Suffolk for the EPC phase.
Our team have been making great progress in delivering the Hinkley Point C (HPC) emergency diesel generators. We are now really excited to be working towards Sizewell C, a HPC replication project.
Job Purpose & Scope:
Responsible for Finance and Administration function of the Sizewell C (SZC) Project.
Accountabilities & Key Tasks:
- Oversee the financial aspect of the project, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to financial matters.
- Establish and oversee internal controls and financial policies to safeguard the company's assets.
- Implement efficient and cost–effective financial processes and systems.
- Drive continuous process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the financial and operational success of the organisation.
- Regularly monitor and report on KPIs, making adjustments as needed to achieve defined targets.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Play a key role with the quarterly and year–end Audits.
- Open communication channels with financial control team and other group entities.
- Ensure continuous improvement in the quality of work undertaken in the department.
- Oversee all financial aspects of the relationship with the Client including billing and cash collection.
- Play a key role in the IT integration to Equans group and various IT development matters.
- Play a role of the Ethics officer of the project team.
- Provide support to the Project Director and the project team on any other financial and administrative matters as required.
