Prospero Teaching are looking for a talented and committed SEN Teacher to join a special needs school in Ilford this Easter
THE SCHOOL:
This special school based in Ilford caters to children with a range of needs, such as complex needs, autism and moderate learning difficulties. The school is made up of 80 students from ages 2-19 years.
The school is committed to providing the best education, creating innovative learning opportunities to promote holistic development.
The Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning and teaching lessons appropriate to the needs of the students
- Differentiating work for different abilities and targets of individual students
- To support inclusion opportunities throughout the school
- To build strong relationships with students and their families
The Right Candidate:
- A positive attitude towards and ability to engage with children who have a range of disabilities such as Autism, PMLD, SLD and complex needs
- Ability to lead, organize and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- High expectations of all pupils and an ability to reflect this through your planning and target setting
- Ability to plan and deliver an engaging and exciting curriculum for all pupils
