Position OverviewTitle: Bilingual Marketing Executive (German/English)Location: Slindon, West Sussex – with options for hybrid workReports to: Marketing DirectorTeam: Individual contributor role without direct reportsSchedule: Full-time (35 hours/week, 9am – 5pm)

Role Summary

Seeking a dynamic Bilingual Marketing Executive to join a leading company with a focus on innovative products. This role involves a comprehensive range of marketing responsibilities, with a particular emphasis on digital marketing and a significant focus on the German market. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and skilled in executing various marketing strategies under the guidance of the Marketing Director. Key competencies include CRM database management, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), social media, email marketing, and a background in international marketing and event coordination. The role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly in a growing company known for its strong brand presence and expansion into new international markets. Candidates should have a degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, along with a proactive, enthusiastic approach to Marketing. Fluency in German is a must.

Primary Responsibilities

– Development and implementation of marketing communications strategies, both online and offline- Crafting and managing email marketing campaigns (MailChimp)- Social media oversight (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)- Coordinating and assisting in events like trade shows- Managing website content updates (WordPress)- Copywriting and proofreading tasks- Ensuring CRM data accuracy, creation of mailing lists and reports- Analyzing CRM data for targeted marketing- SEO and web analytics (Google Adwords, Analytics via an external agency)- Research on target markets and competitors- Liaising with various stakeholders and suppliers- Inventory management of marketing materials- Handling web inquiries

Candidate Requirements- Native or fluent German speaker- Exceptional prioritization and organizational abilities- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research- Experience with CRM software and achieving time-bound objectives- Adaptability and quick learning skills

Preferred Qualifications

International marketing experienceFamiliarity with Sage CRM, MailChimp, WordPress CMS, and HootSuiteDegree-level education

Internal : Senior management, Sales teams (across six countries), Subsidiary office personnel

External : Customers, International distributors, Graphic designers, Journalists, Printers, Trade publications, SEO and web developers, Mailing houses, Promotional gift suppliers, Event organizers, Stand builders

Person Specification

Qualifications: High proficiency in English (spoken and written) is essential, with other languages (German), GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), and a degree being desirable.

Experience: Essential to have confidence in external and internal communication, a minimum of two years in Marketing, teamwork and negotiation skills, and familiarity with CRM systems.

Skills & Abilities : Essential to have the initiative, excellent time management and organizational skills, and flexibility to deal with different situations.

Personal Qualities: Friendly and outgoing personality is essential, along with confidence in phone communication, being dynamic, positive, capable of lateral thinking, efficient under pressure, detail-oriented, eager to learn and adapt, and able to work both in a team and independently.
