Accounts & Payroll Manager

Up to £35,000 + Benefits
CV Screen is recruiting for an Accounts & Payroll Manager for a well-established, successful company based just outside of Maidstone in Kent. This is an office-based role with a salary of up to £35,000 is available.
The role would potentially suit a Senior Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant looking to take on more responsibility.
THE ROLE
You will work as the senior member of the finance team where you will undertake a wide range of duties which will include:
- Manage and run all aspects of monthly company payroll.
- Manage and process all outgoing payments.
- Approve and process subcontractor invoices.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Produce sales invoices for clients and monitor accounts receivable.
- Monitor accounts payable ensuring all supplier accounts are balanced and up to date.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The accountant will have most of the following experience:
- You are likely to have worked in one of the following roles: Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Finance Manager or Accounts Manager.
- Accounts qualification – AAT or ACCA
- Payroll experience.
- Construction/property industry experience would be desirable.
- Knowledge of Sage
SALARY:
Basic salary up to £35,000 + Benefits
