Field based Business Development Manager - 35k basic (+6k commission) - Field Based, Hybrid - Perm - Full Time

Our Wholesale have a brand new role available for a Business Development Manager join our growing and successful New Reseller Channel. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and tenacious individual to embark on an exciting career with us.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing and supporting the short/medium term strategic vision for the company's New Business Strategy. You will be proactively targeting new prospects with the objective of selling our company's value proposition - heavily focused on facilities supplies (janitorial & cleaning) but the freedom to sell any other category across our product portfolio. You will:

* Articulate our value proposition, key features and benefits of the company whilst strategically targeting an assigned prospect pool.
* Work closely with the customers with a combination of Telesales, face to face meetings and a consultative approach to win, development and build on any already formed strategic relationships.
* Agreeing clear objectives and tactics to win new customers and achieve margin growth for both the customer and company.
* Fully understanding and utilising the full library of services offered by our company to grow the Customers Sales and profitability.
* Working with Colleagues associated to the day to day running of customers such as: Credit Control, Transport, Inventory, Marketing, Product Management, Pricing, Demand planning & Customer Services.
* Working in harmony with the OEM's to push new product ranges and become an expert in selling their new and key lines
* Ensuring objectives are achieved and a proactive plan is in place to achieve KPI's

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

* Previous sales experience with consistent success
* Exposure to new business and onboarding new customers.
* A strong track record of working to targets and exceeding goals
* A growth mindset with some super transferable skills which will help us to build a platform for success.
* A good understanding of various business planning techniques and experience of using these.
* Good understanding of the end to end sales process including pricing, operations and how they relate to, and impact true profitability.
* Understanding the functionality and benefits of web stores
* Have excellent ability to confidently manage the company files and strong experience in the use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
