Job description

At Adecco, we currently have an excellent opportunity for a Permanent, On site Safety, Quality and Environment Coordinator for our clients based in Witham, Essex.

The Company

Our client is the UK's largest steel recycling company. Producing products such as steel reinforcing bars, wire rods, and merchant bars. Their steel products are used in a lot of construction and engineering projects. Our client focuses on the production of low-emission circular steel; to try and produce steel in the most sustainable way for our environment.

About the role

Mission

Implement the organisation's Safety, Quality and Environmental policy and procedures so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organisation complies with all current and future regulations including certifications and accreditation's.

Relations

Accountabilities

Ensure the depot meets standards of compliance

Recommend changes to working processes and conditions to ensure that all employees, visitors and external contractors have a safe and healthy working environment

Maintain and analyse compliance records

Coordinate with key stakeholders to resolve customer complaints

Educate and train the organisation's workforce to ensure that they understand and comply with the organisation's SQE policies and procedure
