Job description
The individual will be required to liaise continually with customers and suppliers alike, continuing to build on our already existing customer and supplier base.
Performance managing, developing, and training staff, in conjunction with monitoring the financial performance of the three main areas of the business, retail sales, workshop and cycle hire; and reporting to the Directors on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience within a similar industry, show excellent attention to detail, strong initiative, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Role and responsibilities:
- Maximising profitability by working with the Directors to set sales targets
- Manage and monitor the overall performance and KPI’s set by mutual agreement with Directors
Have full oversight of training and development within the team in conjunction with a continual review of processes to increase knowledge and efficiencies within the business where possible. - Stock management is essential with continual oversight to ensure appropriate levels of stock are always maintained.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Build relationships with current and new suppliers, along with the ability to understand current trends and introduce new lines of business.
- Manage product warranties with suppliers and internally.
- Deal with and manage customer queries and complaints.
