Job description
As Business Manager at Sodexo, you are more than a manager; you are a facilitator of excellence and an ambassador of service. This key role is about ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of catering & hospitality services, while also overseeing the management of security and fitness services to meet and exceed the agreed service levels, both qualitatively and financially. What you’ll do:
- Lead the catering team to ensure all food services meet Sodexo and client standards.
- Enforce and maintain health, safety, and food safety compliance across all services.
- Drive margin improvement through effective menu planning and cost control.
- Enhance customer experience by ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Plan and implement marketing initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the highest levels of service and safety.
- Manage and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of high performance and engagement.
What you bring: - A solid background in catering with over 5 years of managerial experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH and HACCP principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and customers.
- Qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH, or willingness to undertake necessary training.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
