Location: Chelmsford
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £30 per hour
Shift/Working Pattern: Full-time/Part-time

Duties of the Podiatrist
- Provide assessment, diagnosis and implementation of individual treatment plans for patients
- Provide specialist podiatry input to all patients that fall within their specialist field of expertise
- Actively promoting self-management on all activities of daily living
- To be responsible for the assessment diagnosis, planning implementation and evaluation of Podiatric care to a variety of patients with a wide range of clinical needs including:
- High and medium risk Diabetes
- Chronic Neuropathy
- Chronic disease e.g. Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Vascular disease
- Wound management/tissue viability
- Neurological disorders
- Nail Surgery
Requirements of the Podiatrist
- Qualified podiatrist i.e. Degree or equivalent within Podiatry
- Recent experience within podiatry
- Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK
- NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
