Express Recruitment are delighted to once again be supporting one the UK’s leading retailers with their ongoing recruitment drive, as a result of business wide growth. With regards to the implementation of a brand-new Flow Room as part of their automation journey, our client is seeking an Incident Manager to manage Flow Room functions and investigate automation related incidents.  

Due to demanding nature of this role, with it being a 24/7 operation, the successful candidate will be required to work 12 hour rotating days and night shifts (6-6) on a 4 on/4 off basis.  

In return, you will receive a basic salary of £31,500 plus an annual shift premium of £2,100. Other benefits include internal training, annual appraisals, staff discount, non-contractual performance related bonus and free parking.  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Investigate escalated incidents within the Flow Room and provide resolutions to issues in an efficient and professional manner  
• Product post incident reports of major incidents  
• Perform root cause analysis into why incident or persistent issues occur, whilst identifying areas for improvement  
• Ensure incident management documentation is maintained via online system 
• Deliver ongoing training to Flow Room and Dispatch team members on C.I incorporated processes/incident response procedures 

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience working in a Flow Room environment  
• Well versed with typical automated troubleshooting issues and procedures  
• Ability to perform in depth root cause analysis 
• Proficient data analytic skills in order to be able to produce reports and interpret complex data 
• Demonstrable experience working with Continuous Improvement methodologies  
• Excellent communication skills on all levels, with the ability to simplify technical information to a non-technical audience
