Job description
Overview of Role:
As Human Resources (HR) Administrator you will be working within our HR department, updating HR documents and staff records, reviewing company policies, ensuring legal compliance, preparing and filing employment contracts, taking notes in meeting and changes of terms and conditions.
The HR Administrator will work closely with other members of the team. The HR team work in a fast-paced environment and you must be able to manage a varied workload, from onboarding a new employee to liaising with managers to schedule meetings and assisting with recruitment processes. You must possess a high degree of professionalism and discretion and understand how to represent both the company policies and the needs of the employees.
You will support the HR team in ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place, identifying potential improvements to processes and systems as we seek to deliver an effective service across the organisation.
Hours: 18.75 hours per week, flexible between Monday to Friday. (Full time is 37.5 hours)
Pension: Church Army is an auto enrolment pension employer. You will be assessed under pension auto enrolment criteria.
Annual Leave: 123.75 hours per year, inclusive of bank holidays. (FTE is
247.5 hours, 33 days, per year inclusive of bank holidays)
Contract: Part-Time, Fixed Term – 6 months
