Exciting opportunity for an ambitious Accountant who are studying towards their professional qualifications.

Reporting to the FD you will be a pivotol part of the finance team and duties willl include :

To assist the Head of Finance with various financial and management accountancy roles ensuring that high levels of accuracy and timeliness are adhered to.

• To oversee the two main functions of the team : Payroll and Sales Ledger, ensuring that the team meets deadlines and completes the task accurately, and also providing cover for absences within the team.
• To take ownership of the purchase ledger function and all intercompany invoicing/nominal transactions.

The ideal Assistant Accountant candidate will have:

• Advanced Excel knowledge
• A working knowledge of debits and credits
• Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll experience is desirable

To be shortlisted for the role of Assistant Accountant you must have:

• 5 or more GCSEs at grade A-C
• AAT or equivalent
• Part qualified ACCA, CIMA
