Job description
Chiltern Arts is looking for an individual with social media expertise and knowledge and experience of classical music and literature events to boost our social media presence and promote our upcoming festival.
What will you be doing?Working closely with the Creative Director, this role will include:
- Managing Facebook, Twitter (X) and Instagram accounts including responding to any messages received
- Creating and managing posting schedules for promotional campaigns and other content
- Posting and sharing information on local groups / pages
- Assisting with and advising on content creation
Chiltern Arts is looking for a social media expert who has experience working with classical music and / or literature events.
The individual should be motivated and able to work independently, whilst keeping a small team up to date with progress and activities.
Ideally the volunteer would be familiar with some or all of the towns and villages in which we deliver our work across the Chilterns, although living locally is not essential.
Good IT skills (including use of Google Sheets, Dropbox and Zoom) as well as social media and excellent written English are essential.
