Job description
Assistant Principal - Humanities and Arts
We are growing our senior leadership and management team and are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Assistant Principal - Humanities and Arts.
Our school builds strongly on the principles of Service, Excellence, Virtues and Aspirations at the heart of the Sikh Faith. This is reflected in the levels of trust and respect shown by our pupils and their drive to succeed. We are rated GOOD by Ofsted in 2022 and rated an OUTSTANDING faith school by NSO in 2024.
Due to a extensive capital build programme we are looking to recruit additional teachers to grow our departments. Posts advertised are for either an April or September start.
The school has reflective staff who enjoy working in an environment where they are valued and empowered. They are committed to raising standards and effective team work. We positively promote opportunities for children to develop a whole range of academic, creative and social skills inspired by faith and we encourage the active participation of the whole community.
There is nothing more important for us than recruiting the right staff to work with our students. Working at Seva School is a privilege; our students are highly motivated and parents could not be more supportive - our community deserve the very best practitioners. Teaching experience is welcome, but more important to us is your commitment to the school and the students, your passion for teaching, your strong work ethic and your openness to feedback and further development.
Tours of the school prior to application are welcome.
We are looking for leaders who are:
• Consistently good and outstanding practitioners
• Hardworking and passionate, with a positive mind set and pro-active approach
• Committed to drive forward the school’s vision and aims
• Exemplary role models and maintain high standards of professionalism
We offer:
• A two week October half term holiday
• Opportunities for significant professional development in an expanding school
• A supportive team of friendly and passionate staff
• Support from a strong committed Senior Leadership Team and Trust
