We are working in partnership seeking recruiting for a Finance Business Partner - Production .
The role is hybrid based, but with travel to various sites, specifically Northampton, Burton and Wolves

Finance Business Partner - Production
Reports to : Head of Business Partnering
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor the financial development of the business unit, proactively identify, and provide recommendations for further value creation
- Enhance management reports and analysis with forward looking business insights and present to business leadership team
- Assist and challenge the production teams building plans ensuring the financial understanding of the risks and opportunities
- Integrated working with the business to support decision making, to impact & predict business outcomes
- Be a central part in the planning process, follow up on plans with focus on actions to close gaps versus targets.
- Ensures targets are met, KPI, CAPEX, savings, HC, P&L are connected and consistent
- Support S&OP process and decision making
- Drive Performance Management Culture in Production, savings and efficiencies using relevant benchmarking with internal- and external best practices
- Drive a value adding mentality on investments and activities with focus on getting the right input and output in the business cases. Validates / delegates validation of investments based on thresholds
- Ensure post analysis are performed for decisions and investments to secure prior learnings are incorporated in future business decisions
- Ensure all activities & initiatives are clearly linked with the company strategy and production vision measuring the relevant KPIs
- Leads Focus Improvement Pillar, train and educate the production team in financial models in utilising production dashboards/tools
- Collaborate closely with FP&A CoE and business analysts to ensure data, reports and analysis are relevant, in time & in the right format. Recruit, onboard, train and develop local Controlling team members
- Runs projects with ISC, LCC, NPD on launches, approving investments
- Finance lead/support on production business cases
- Run and coordinate month end, Estimate and Budget process
- Drive continuous improvement within the finance production team
- Support Production VP with tracking and monitoring savings
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Masters in finance, Business admin, Production mgt. or accounting - with advanced financial understanding
- Experience from Financial and Performance management driven businesses
- Documented track records of driving & achieving outstanding business results
- Experience from multinational companies and working in matrix structures
- Experience from beverage industry and FMCG with experience in SAP is preferred
- Fluency in English
- Strong business acumen combining strategic and an analytical mindset with a broad business and production understanding
- Ability to translate internal and external factors to financials and support the Production & Commercial teams to make the right decisions based on financials
- Ensure Focus on effectiveness & efficiencies improvement, specifically on long-term objectives balanced with the right short-term actions to execute and achieve goals of the business
- Strong leadership skills with ability to challenge
- Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills
- Ability to translate how commercial decisions impact supply operations, actively act in cross functional teams to build costs/efficiencies awareness and explore potentials
- Robust performance management skills, driving and embedding performance culture
- Self-confidence with an ability to make recommendations and take decisions
- An understanding of how digitalisation changes the ways of driving business and how this will impact financials
- Understanding of new digital and analytic capabilities and ability to leverage these to drive the right financial conversations and decisions from a business perspective
- Data fluency being able to interpret data and utilise it as critical input for decision recommendations
- Open minded and have an ability to adopt to change
