I am currently recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing organisation who are looking for an Accounts Assistant in the Accrington area, this position will be working full time (37.5 hours) on a permanent basis. The responsibilities for this role will be as follows:

• Maintenance of the sales ledger
• Credit control duties, including dealing with queries
• Assisting with month end requirements (cut off, rebate accrual etc.)
• Posting & allocating receipts and reconciling monthly bank
• Purchase ledger duties as required
• Petty cash/credit card
• VAT returns / intrastat
• Ad-hoc duties as required
