A prestigious National Risk & Fire Consultancy is actively seeking a dynamic and ambitious Fire Engineer to join their esteemed team based in Newcastle. This role focuses initially on expansive retail projects throughout the North.

The Fire Engineer's Role

In this pivotal position, the Fire Engineer will benefit from the guidance and mentorship of Senior Fire Engineers, working across a diverse range of sectors including residential, commercial, retail, and transport. The role demands a forward-thinking individual capable of contributing to the Fire Engineering business's development and expansion. Essential to this role is effective communication and steadfast support to the head of Fire Engineering.

The consultancy has established significant relationships with leading retailers across the UK and is also engaged in the commercial and residential sectors. It is vital for the Fire Engineer to stay updated with compliance, Fire regulations, and anticipate future modifications.

The Fire Engineer

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Fire Engineering
• Proficiency in creating fire strategy drawings and reports
• Expertise in compartmentation and escape planning
• Familiarity with FREAW'S
• Ability to produce high-calibre FRM reports
• Experience in conducting client-facing meetings
• Proven track record in the residential and commercial sectors
• Business development skills
