Job description
Our client seeks a Chief Executive Officer in the manufacturing industry to join and lead their group. Our client is an international business who designs, manufactures and supplies bespoke products into care markets operating across 3 continents. Investor backed and headquartered on the Isle of Man we require a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the business as part of succession planning and achieve ambitious growth targets as the group continues to develop. This is a very specific mandate that requires candidates to be able to evidence a track record within the care market and manufacturing environment, have worked within private equity and are experienced in M&A, disposals and buying / selling processes. International experience within mid to large cap medical devices businesses is essential and extensive travel to execute the job role will be required. The incoming CEO will be tasked with leading the next strategic chapter of the business, grow revenues in line with plan and optimise the businesses efficiencies. The candidate will also display an interpersonal capability that extracts performance from an already well-run team and displays the characteristics that inspire a future generation of workers as the business grows. The successful candidate will be expected to hold a relevant professional qualification to support operating at this level such as CIMA or equivalent and have a minimum of 15 years (recent) operating at CEO (or equivalent) level within the care and manufacturing space. The role requires a strong commercial acumen particularly in the areas of finance, sales, marketing, research & development. With our clients headquarters being on the IOM you must be willing to live here or spend a percentage of your time here when you are not travelling internationally.
