Community Advocate
to support people with disability in West Sussex.
20+ hours per week.
Salary starting: £26,726 pro rata
+ Stakeholder pension and generous holiday allowance.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our client’s friendly service, as they are recruiting a team of new advocates to work in West Sussex. They have recently received some funding to support people with disabilities to have a voice. Their work includes working with people facing financial challenges, as well as supporting parents with a learning disability who are at various points in the Child Protection process.
Requirements for this role:
- Have experience of working with people with disabilities.
- Have passion for a creating a fairer society for people with disabilities.
- Be able to communicate well with a range of different people.
- Be able to drive and have a vehicle you can use to travel for work across West Sussex.
