Job description
TARA are currently working with several schools in Telford looking to appoint an EYFS Teacher for their Summer terms. As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of children aged 3 to 5 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based lessons that support the holistic development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies and promote positive behaviour within the classroom.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other EYFS staff to plan and implement a rich and varied curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialisation or experience in Early Years Education is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young children and their families.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in responding to the diverse needs of young learners.
- Valid DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or willingness to undergo a new check.
