Carrington West are pleased to be working with a leading independent multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in town planning, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, and the historic environment. Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director to join a team in Norwich on a hybrid basis. As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a diverse range of projects, providing expert guidance, and contributing to the strategic growth of our consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to make a significant impact within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
·Provide strategic direction and technical expertise in town planning, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, and the historic environment.
·Cultivate strong client relationships, identify business opportunities, and support business development initiatives.
·Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
·Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and integrate relevant insights into project delivery.
Requirements:
·Degree in town planning, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, or related field. Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MRTPI) are highly desirable.
·Extensive experience (minimum 7 years) working within a consultancy environment, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
·Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
·Comprehensive knowledge of planning policies, legislation, and regulations.
·Demonstrated ability to think strategically and commercially, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
·Membership or eligibility for membership with relevant professional bodies (e.g., RTPI, RIBA, LI) is advantageous.
