Job description

We are looking for Warehouse Team Leader on behalf of our client in Chelmsford.

Job Type: Full – time

Hours: 8am- 5.30pm

Salary: £12 per hour

Responsibilities:

Assist overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient workflow.
– Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products
– Prepare and package orders for shipment
– Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
– Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records
– Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
– Assist with training new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
– Implement and enforce company policies and procedures

Requirements:

– Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
– Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
– Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
– Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely
– Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 3 years (preferred)
