Job description

We are looking for a highly creative Menswear Designer to work across Jersey & Loungewear. This is an exciting opportunity to join Next Sourcing in a fast paced; collaborative and trend driven environment. About the role: Create innovative designs that meet the customer needs for design, fit, style, quality and are trend lead Working closely with the design team and buyers Working in line with the critical path to meet deadlines set Take into consideration budgets set and challenge your designs accordingly Managing 1 Assistant Designer About you: A real passion for design within the Menswear industry A natural interest in trends with a good eye for colour, detail and excellent taste level An enthusiastic communicator with great personal skills Experience of working in a fast paced environment, working to set deadlines with enthusiasm and confidence Previous experience working within a UK brand, high street retailer or supplier Skills and Qualifications: Qualified to degree or equivalent in Fashion or similar subject. An excellent level of skill within Illustrator and Photoshop Highly organised Garment/fabric based knowledge is desirable CAD/Adobe Suite essential As part of the application process we require you to submit a digital portfolio.
