Job description

GI Group are currently looking for a Plant Process Engineer Supervisor to join our client based in Worsley, Walkden.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Skilled Mechanical Engineer to play a key role within the process & plant team. You will be required to supervise and carry out installation & maintenance of heavy machinery and factory equipment.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess and demonstrate experience of working within a similar role in a manufacturing/production environment (food sector preferable), with specific experience of installing factory/plant equipment and machinery
Job details:

Monday - Friday + Overtime
Pay rate - £23

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Installation of mechanical plant equipment
* Maintenance of mechanical plant equipment.
* Ensure that all works are carried out to a high-quality standard and compliance
* Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to including Permit to Work.
* Ad-hoc duties required on the job

Skills, Experience and Attributes

* Mechanical Engineering with 1-3 years hands on experience
* Experience working in, Food Industry, Flour Mills, breweries and/or distilleries.
* Flexible regarding working hours and days, possible weekends
* Good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
* Good time keeping and punctuality
* Professional attitude
* Driving Licence.
