Job description

What you will do in your working day

You will work across the different age groups to ensure you are enabled to gain experience and knowledge to support your academic learning.

You will be involved in all aspects of pre-school care and education, from baby care to teaching pre-school children all the skills they will require to transition to primary school, such as literacy and numeracy.

You will be supporting our qualified staff and completing tasks under their supervision from planning and implementing activities to written observations to track and monitor development right through to working unsupported once you are competent.

The training you will be getting

• Level 2 Functional skills in Maths & English (if required)
• A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification graded via an end point assessment
• Apprentices must successfully complete the Apprentices must successfully complete a first aid qualification
• College attendance is required
