Job Purpose
Join our team and take on a key role of supporting the development and enhancement of learning and teaching approaches and communities across the BPP Education Group portfolio.
As Associate Professor of Educational Practice, you will take the lead on the compliance and assurance of our AdvanceHE PSF programmes and the Learning and Teaching CPD provision, in line with our institutional priorities and strategies.
Additionally, you will lead one of our PSF programmes and contribute to the wider work of the team, developing the profile of scholarship/research and leading/contributing to projects aligned to wider University and Group education initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
· Lead the compliance and quality assurance of BPP’s Advance HE Professional Standards recognition programmes, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and strategies.
· Develop, deliver, and enhance BPP’s Advance HE Professional Standards recognition programmes in accordance with institutional goals.
· Coordinate and deliver Learning and Teaching CPD provision, overseeing creation, promotion, and evaluation of offerings.
· Contribute to the design, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of postgraduate learning and teaching programmes.
· Support the delivery of BPP’s Advance HE Professional Standards recognition scheme ('Headway'), including mentoring and training initiatives.
· Identify and recommend best practices in learning and teaching for integration into programmes.

What we're looking for
• A recognised higher education teaching qualification such as a PG Cert, and/or an MA/MEd in a higher education context.
• Senior or Principal Fellow of Advance HE (UKPSF D3 or D4).
• Extensive experience with the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) and/or engagement with Advance HE, including mentorship and PSF application review.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering excellence in teaching practice and disseminating best practices to colleagues across various staff groups and disciplines.
• Proficiency in providing solution-focused approaches to drive and lead change initiatives.
• Ability to conduct research and effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences through various formats including presentations, reports and data analysis.
