Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for fixing things? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team.
More about the role: You will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our hotel andfacilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and carpentry work
- Assisting in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment and system issues
- Conducting preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to complete projects efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Upholding safety protocols and ensuring a clean and organised work environment
Who you are: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work (apprenticeship or previous job experience)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
