Part-time Credit Control Officer - Wellington Somerset - Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Credit Control Officer to work within their small finance team.

Hours of Work:

Flexibility on how many hours worked a week providing its between 20 - 30. Working across 4 - 5 days a week, between Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 5.15pm, Fridays, 8.30am - 12.30pm. All hours will need to be worked in the office.


Salary: will be pro rata against a £26,000 salary based on a 37 hour working week.


Job Role:

You would be working within a small team and working closely with other departments to ensure that invoices are sent accurately and on time. Building relationships with the customers to ensure payments are received on time. Using Microsoft Excel, and other software packages.

Main Duties

* Responsibility of the sales ledger
* Chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and letter
* Allocating Payments
* Placing orders
* Raising credit notes
* Reconcile balances
* Deal with customer invoice queries
* Adjustments and reinvoice when required
* Producing debtors lists.
