JOB SUMMARY: The SEO Analyst will act as the link between Simpleview SEO clients and the SEO team. The SEO Analyst will provide expertise and strategic consulting to clients for all SEO efforts. These efforts will focus on growing traffic and conversions through organic search engine optimization but may also involve consultation on a variety of digital marketing elements.
The SEO Analyst collaborates with clients and various SEO stakeholders (Account Managers, Developers, etc.) to formulate campaign strategy, establish campaign goals, and subsequently implement them. In overseeing project management for these campaigns, the SEO Analyst ensures their timely, profitable, and efficient execution. This role involves a meticulous understanding of the SEO client's campaign objectives, with the SEO Analyst effectively conveying this information to all teams involved. Additionally, the SEO Analyst plays a key role in assisting with sitemaps and redirects for website projects. Close collaboration with the client, account manager, and project manager is essential to achieve the client's goals while optimizing their new website for search engines.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analyse data trends and SEO performance, develop solid strategic SEO plans, and conduct SEO activities to attain high visibility on search engines.
- Implement creative ways to improve SEO results and work closely in a consultative role with the clients and SEO team.
- Keep pace with SEO techniques, search engine changes, and other Internet marketing industry trends and developments.
- Create sitemaps for new DMOs meeting their content requirements
- Conduct URL redirect work to ensure sites are re-indexed properly when they are redeveloped
- Brief other members of the department such as Account Managers and Developers on client requirements in order to execute each campaign.
- Compile stats and present analysis to clients for SEO campaigns.
- Maintain responsibility for the proper execution and production of all contracted items within an SEO project’s stated scope of work.
- Ensure campaigns are produced on time and profitably.
- Conduct phone and face-to-face consultation, reporting, and training sessions with clients. Be able to give presentations when needed.
- Ensure all campaign reporting is accurate and sent out in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain positive client relationships. Represent Simpleview in a positive manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Manage client communications and scope changes during project execution. Have the ability to “push back” in a polite and friendly manner to clients when unreasonable demands are made.
REQUIREMENTS: - The role requires a minimum of 1 year of SEO experience.
- A background in Google Analytics and/or other analytics platforms is necessary.
- The candidate should possess effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal staff, whether verbally or through email.
- The ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings and conference calls with clients and internal staff is crucial.
- The candidate should be able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Additionally, effective presentation skills are required when needed.
- A passion for all things related to SEO, a willingness to stay updated on new technologies.
- A desire to become an in-house expert for SEO and surrounding digital technologies is essential.
